About Us
The Leonard Jewelry Experience
Leonard Jewelry is a family business catering to our customers as friends and family. Offering a complete selection of jewelry in both diamonds and gemstones, watches, sterling silver, Karat Gold, mens and ladies styles, bridal, wedding bands, charms, and gifts, we strive to bring both the basics and the unusual to our store and community. We offer convenient payment options such as charge plans, 6-month layaway, and accept most bankcards, including Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Gift Cards are also available for those wishing to make their own selection.
As an added benefit, Leonard Jewelry keeps a “wish list” for anyone wanting to leave a hint for a future idea or occasion. We also keep a record of your purchases so we can help you choose the right selection without duplication.
Leonard Jewelry opened in 1964 in downtown Stillwater as a watch and clock repair shop. Owned and operated by John and Earlene Leonard, the repair business grew and expanded into jewelry. It quickly outgrew the tiny space on 8th Street and moved to Main Street in 1975. The store developed into a full-time jewelry, watch and gift store.
In 1985, the Leonard’s retired. Kent and Annette Kinzie purchased the store, but maintained the Leonard Jewelry name and history. Located in the heart of Stillwater,
Leonard Jewelry is on Main Street inside Kinzington Kourt with several other businesses, including Cowboy Bob’s Discount Golf, Vestige (a Fossil boutique), and The Salon for Hair and Nails.
Leonard Jewelry is the oldest jewelry full service jewelry store in Stillwater and maintains the values of quality, integrity, and personal service. The emphasis remains on carrying fine jewelry at honest prices and to uphold fair business practices both in the jewelry industry and the community.
Striving for continuing education, Leonard Jewelry is a member of Jewelers of America, Independent Jewelers Organization, and the Oklahoma Jewelers Association where they have served as President, and as a member of the Board of Directors.
Community involvement also includes Downtown Stillwater Business Improvement District, and the Convention and Visitors Board.
